We are seeking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support the day shift within a truly fast paced and high volume manufacturing environment. As part of a much larger international plc you will be working for the UK division which itself has 30+ manufacturing sites and is a market leading supplier to major FMCG blue chip businesses. The business is dedicated to delivering innovative, cost effective solutions to meet the changing needs of individual customers. Having a strongly customer driven approach has enabled the business to develop long term relationships with some of the UK’s leading brand owners and manufacturers.

As a days based Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will operate on a rotating or turn about shift to provide seven day site cover. This is a fantastic shift pattern which provides a week off shift every third shift. This can work exceedingly well for those with young families, or outside interests or indeed those wishing to spend time away from home. There is also ample opportunity to bolster you already strong basic salary with the prospect of over time. This over time is currently available due to both high levels of customer demand perhaps more significantly though is the project work created by a £multi million Cap Ex on site. This CapEx will greatly assist in further reducing unit costs and secure a prosperous long term future for the plant.

As an apprentice trained electrical engineer you will already have gained experience of supporting a high volume manufacturing operation and have a progressive and pro-active approach to engineering services. Working with highly automated plant equipment engineering as a function Is held in very high regard within the organisation. In addition to your apprenticeship and time served experience you will also hold C&G 16th Edition or ideally 17th Edition. On site the business runs a variety of PLCs to include; Siemens, Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi as such you will need to be able to demonstrate fault finding g and diagnostics skills.
