We are seeking to recruit a Night Shift Manager to manage the manufacturing department on a shift basis within a truly fast paced and high volume chilled food manufacturing environment. The business operates within the UK Food industry providing a range of Branded and Private Label products to the UK Grocery retail market. Having a strongly customer driven approach has enabled the business to develop long term relationships with some of the UK’s leading grocery retailers which in turn ahs led to significant growth and business expansion. You will be responsible for a team of technical operators and liaise closely with the engineers within this highly automated high volume manufacturing environment. Reporting directly to the Site Manufacturing Manager you will be responsible for the processing section of the manufacturing process. You will coordinate the bulking of manufactured and purchased materials and fulfil orders in an efficient and timely manner whilst leading a Continuous Improvement process across the shift to improve, optimise and make safer all processes and operations.
