An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading international food manufacturing business to work on one of their highest profile accounts and manage an account valued at c£100m. We are looking to recruit a NAM to join our Commercial Team at our offices in Cambridgeshire where you will take responsibility for 3 product ranges within the value added chilled food sector. Reporting to the Commercial Controller you will be responsible for the effective day to day management and development of the 3 product ranges and ensuring that the highest level of service and customer satisfaction is delivered within agreed budgeted targets. You will play a pivotal role in the communication and liaison between internal departments and our grocery retail customer to ensure that customer requirements are met and schedules are achieved. You will have an eye for detail that managing a sophisticated supply chain and product range demands and be adaptable to the changing needs of the customer. Key accountabilities will also include the working alongside marketing and NPD to provide total account management including analysis and presentation of performance data, market trends, product costs, the co-ordination of promotional and new product development activity and effective handling of customer requirements championing the mutually beneficial requirements of both parties. Working for an international food manufacturing business at their main UK factory you will report to the Chief Engineer and be responsible for ensuring that all of the plant equipment is maintained and optimised. As part of the engineering team you will undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and provide an efficient response to breakdowns in order to maintain optimum efficiency. You will have a professional engineering qualification, have strong electrical skills, knowledge of PLC to programming level, understanding of ammonia refrigeration plant and be proficient in diagnosing and rectifying faults mechanically across a wide range of process equipment. Reporting to the Chief Engineer your principle activities will include; performing both reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) own your own initiative and against the PPM schedule and accurately recording all maintenance work. Your role is crucial to the efficient running of the factory and as such you will be required to co-ordinate between engineering maintenance, production and quality assurance (QA).
