Reporting directly to the Site Manufacturing Manager you will be responsible for the processing section of the manufacturing process. You will coordinate the bulking of manufactured and purchased materials and fulfil orders in an efficient and timely manner whilst leading a Continuous Improvement process across the shift to improve, optimise and make safer all processes and operations. You will also co-ordinate all training for staff in all aspects of their roles. Set the standard in good operations and strive to obtain maximum efficiencies. Keep the team informed on performance of the department. As the Production Manager you will ensure that all specified KPIs are met and where possible exceeded and where appropriate working with the Manufacturing Manager to create new KPIs. You will be required to act as the liaison between Bulking, Process, Despatch and other departments to ensure that all resources are used efficiently and all needs are met.
