Reporting to the site Business Unit Operations Manager you will be have responsibility for the Quality Assurance function on site and as such you will champion QA across all functions. On a day to day basis this will require you to take a lead within the business unit for all aspects of hygiene and food safety as well as product quality.

Having already operated at a Quality Manager level within a food manufacturing or drinks industry environment you will have a clear knowledge and understanding of HACCP and BRC. Previous direct exposure to the major UK Grocery multiples and other significant customers will be hugely advantageous as will prior experience of leading audits. Within this role you will play an instrumental role in delivering compliance to BRC, Grocery Retail, legislative and internal Weetabix standards.

Weetabix is an established and successful business, it is also one which recognises the need to change, evolve and improve as such we will be seeking a Quality Hygiene & Compliance Manager who will have the strength of character to question existing practices and to introduce improvements where pertinent to do so.

Although not directly line managing the team your role will also have responsibility for over seeing the hygiene team’s existing standard operating procedures and again to suggest improvements as appropriate on an on going basis.
