Warehouse Team Leader £25-30k Cambs

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an international food manufacturer with a turnover in excess of £200 million.  Producing and selling fresh food and drinks across several categories this business has an extremely strong track record and is experiencing a period of significant growth.

A great opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to lead our warehouse and distribution team on the night shift. You will provide a visible point of contact within the warehouse for all staff.  Reporting to the Night Shift Manager you will assist the Night Warehouse Manager as deemed necessary and work as part of a team to ensure accurate and efficient execution of distribution and warehouse duties. You will be working in a temperature controlled environment.  You will be expected to work as requested by the Senior Management Team on ad hoc projects. Attention to detail is essential, and the successful candidate should will be well organised, possess good supervisory abilities and excellent communication skills.

As the Night Shift Warehouse Team Manager you will be responsible for the management of the Warehouse operations as well as the service levels to customers and ensuring that all stock rotation is maintained .  As and when required you will carry out any internal investigations and manage the absence.  As the leader of your team it will be expected that you will identify and action any training requirements.  Needless to say that central to your role will be the maintenance and delivery of your team’s KPI’s.

Previous experience in a Warehouse Operation is essential chilled food experience would be advantageous.   A good level of numeracy and literacy are essential.            This is a hands on position and you will be expected to lead by example.
