This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing and privately owned FMCG business based in Oxfordshire. Due to continued growth year on year in both the UK and International divisions, an opportunity has arisen for a European Export Manager to join the sales and marketing team. The organisation has a selection of instantly recognisable products and brands in it’s portfolio and the successful candidate will enjoy a breadth of opportunities to grow and develop these. In addition to working with the company’s branded products you will also have the opportunity to work with a number of very high profile licensed products as well as retailer own label ranges.
Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for; ensuring the effective running of the Operations and Logistics functions of the company including providing strategic and operational direction. Provide clear and effective day to day leadership, management, guidance and mentoring. Improve team cohension and effectiveness and lead continuous improvement via adherence to key metrics, whilst maintaining quality, customer service, and health and safety, at agreed levels. Operate to agreed KPI’s as required.
You will have gained previous in both efficiency improvement and planning for Operations and Logistics able be able to demonstrable Change Management experience and success and ideally hold a recognised qualification or have received formal training lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. This role is a true Operation Manager position and covers both production and logistics, as such you will need to be able to demonstrate previous management experience within both disciplines.

The position is at a sufficient level of seniority that you will also need to have strong commercial and business acumen and have ability to create, propose, manage and control budgets.
This is an organisation which has grown rapidly and will continue to do so and as such you will need to be flexible, adapt to change and be comfortable working within a hands on flat structure which is more roll your sleeves up than ivory towers.
