Senior Product Developer £30k East Midlands

Working for an instantly recognisable UK brand which is synonymous with quality. You will be tasked with a brief to develop truly outstanding new products that maintain the brand’s reputation for quality whilst also injecting your own joie de vivre. We seek to please our customers and the end consumer a like and your products will embody this spirit. To assist you in developing our new range and reviewing existing SKUs you will be supported by an NPD Technologist who you will coach and mentor. In addition the enjoyment and quality of our products we too have to be mindful of the more traditional challenges of meeting deadlines and adhering to restrictions on raw material costs; both of which you will ensure are achieved within all of your product launches. Ideally you will be a graduate or perhaps more importantly be able to demonstrate that you have; the intelligence, initiative and ability to communicate at all levels from shop floor to board level. Managing a wide number of SKUs you will be expected to managing multiple tasks at anyone time some of which may be in their infancy whilst others are being launched in store. You will already have gained food or drink New Product Development experience and have an obvious passion for food and natural creativity.
