Previous experience of reviewing existing suppliers and be able to clearly demonstrate and support with tangible and quantifiable examples how and to what extent you have reduced the COP within your current business whilst also enhancing the supply chain and maintaining strong supplier relationships. In addition to examples of cost reductions it is crucial that you can demonstrate an effective knowledge and understanding of the modern procurement tools and techniques required to ensure that you always aim for and achieve the best total cost of ownership and not simply lowest price. Whilst formal CIPS qualifications are not a prerequisite for this position clearly it would be a distinct advantage. You will need to be adaptable and able to react to change within a fast paced retailer focused environment. We are seeking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support the day shift within a truly fast paced and high volume manufacturing environment. As part of a much larger international plc you will be working for the UK division which itself has 30+ manufacturing sites and is a market leading supplier to major FMCG blue chip businesses. As a days based Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will operate on a rotating or turn about shift to provide seven day site cover.
