Producing and selling fresh food and drinks across several categories this business has an extremely strong track record and is experiencing a period of significant growth. A great opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance Manager reporting to the Company Technical Manager. As the QA Manager you will be responsible for Technical work within the factory to ensure that the products that are made in the factory are compliant with the UK and European food safety requirements as well as all company and customer technical policies and guidelines. You will also manage the Quality Assurance Technicians (QATs) and work with Operations and Engineering to achieve the above compliance. Your primary accountabilities will therefore be; Line management of the QATs, following food based legislation company and customer policies and guidelines. You will have previous QA experience within a food manufacturing environment and ideally with chilled short shelf life and ideally possess a food science / related degree.
