This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative and quality driven food manufacturer who supply a wide range of premium products primarily within the baking and ingredients products Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for the technical management of the sites, including product safety and legality, process control, traceability, quality assurance, quality control with support from the Quality Co-ordinator. As the company Technical Manager you will ensure adherence to all food safety standards and legislation to meet internal and external requirements with particular emphasis on BRC accreditation. You will also contribute to the formulation, delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement of the Manufacturing Strategy to provide operational effectiveness and ensure technical integrity. The Technical Manager will record all non-conformances and associated costs whilst managing the internal audit schedule. Your team will be responsible for completing, maintaining and controlling all technical specifications. You will approve and audit all suppliers and maintain an approved suppliers’ database whilst managing third party site visits.
