You will be working with major brands as well as retailer own label products across a hugely diverse product range incorporating several hundred SKUs. As the company’s Purchasing Manager your role will be extremely broad and cover a diverse range of raw material and packaging. You will provide supporting for the NPD department when sourcing new products / suppliers and also be responsible for developing longer term relationships with a group of core suppliers. This opportunity is working within an expanding privately owned business and as such you will also have involvement where appropriate with other departments across the business, as such a hands on “role your sleeves up” approach will be far more effective than a very corporate ivory towers mentality.
