Position Summary The successful candidate will be responsible for Machine Control Sales for the South West counties of England. Located within the sales area, you will be responsible for maximizing the sales of specialist Machine Control solutions for a wide range of applications such as road, rail, environmental and infrastructure projects, including the use of GNSS and Robotic Total Stations. You will have several years’ experience in the Land Survey industry, to include proven experience of working with automated Machine Control systems such as GPS or Total Station guided Bulldozers, Motorgraders and/or Excavators. A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior Maintenance Manager. You will be responsible for co-ordinating and managing all maintenance activities on site, ensuring the plant and building fabric meet business and legal requirements. You will be required to manage and maintain department KPI’s & performance to meet business requirements. Manage the daily provision and the development & training of maintenance and engineering personnel and implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You will report into the site engineering manager. In addition to managing your team an d budget you will also be required to take a hands on approach to Engineering. You will have gained significant engineering experience within fast paced high volume manufacturing environments and ideally have experience of dealing with chilled short shelf life food products. Reporting to the Planning Manager you will be responsible for ensuring Finished Goods (FG) supply meets the customers’ demands by maximising customer service while minimising the costs associated with FG and Raw Material (RM) waste and production inefficiencies. As the production Planner you will be expected to produce the Production and Capacity Planning for the short, medium and long term as well as producing the daily Production Scheduling and daily SKU & Customer Forecasting. You will already have gained high volume manufacturing supply chain planning experience preferably within a chilled food environment. Whilst a degree level of education would be advantageous it is not essential and you may possess professional qualifications in forecasting or planning. The ability to work under pressure and meet timely deadlines is essential as is the ability to work unsupervised, demonstrating ability to own projects and see through to completion.
